During the workshop, participants teamed up and acted as founders, running a virtual company for the duration of this event.
They were given a virtual company account, with $1.5 Million cash on it. Participants decided what type of facility their company want to purchase: raw material sites, factories, distribution centers, etc. They used the facilities as assets to their companies, and built business operations from there.
Throughout the event, founders spent 3.5 hours of operation time. All the decision making in operating company was 100% up to them. They interacted in-person with other teams: formed partnerships, cut deals, joined alliances, borrowed and lent money, etc. All teams were operating in one virtual marketplace.
By the end of the workshop, two teams made peace with their $300K investment agreement, and split the debt to become dual-winners of the workshop as Most Profitable Companies.
